Moody ParK

This mural project was commissioned by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, 1998.  The Moody Park Community Center, located 3501 Fulton in Houston near n. main area is the home of this community collaboration.  With support from the MFA and Houston Parks and Recreation, we worked with approximately 35 children, teenagers, and adults to produce "Uplift our Culture", a 16'x20' painted mural.

The mural was designed and produced by youth attending the summer program at the community center.  Below are pics of the work-in-progress and the final work. Click on thumbnail images to see larger pics.
